Abstract
Infantile hemangioma is a common, benign tumor of infancy. Although systemicpropranolol was found to be effective in the treatment of infantile hemangioma, itsuse is often challenging for clinicians owing to its potential side effects. Recent smallstudies have suggested that the topical use of timolol maleate gel, a non-selectivebeta-adrenergic antagonist, might be effective for the treatment of superficial infantilehemangioma. Here, we report three cases of infantile hemangioma of different sizesand depths treated with the topical timolol maleate gel-forming solution.
