초록

The traffic of cellular communication is surging rapidly year by year. The 5G network, introduced to counter this surge, provides rapid and convenient communication performance for users with its characteristics of ultra-connectivity, low latency, and energy efficiency. With the adoption of high-frequency bands in 5G mobile communication, path loss becomes significantly higher compared to 4G communication, prompting ongoing research into a variety of technologies to compensate for these 5G mobile communication characteristics. This paper presents a performance analysis through a comparative study of the outcomes resulting from the application of a proposed multihop-resource allocation Device-to-Device (D2D) communication algorithm to enhance the performance of 5G mobile communication. The analysis demonstrates observable improvements in communication performance within the 5G mobile communication system.
