The global heat wave and extreme weather crisis are fueling calls for energy conversion, and hydrogen will play an important role in decarbonizing the world's energy system in the context of the transition to a carbon-neutral society. The South Korean government has also announced various policies to achieve the National Defence Contribution (NDC), including the National Carbon Neutral Green Growth Basic Plan, and has come up with various support measures to promote them. Thanks to this, it is expected that the revised NDC target will be achieved through new regeneration and hydrogen power generation. This analysis seeks to develop the hydrogen industry by comparing domestic and foreign hydrogen policies.
