초등무용수업 수행평가를 통한 학습활동의 이해

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to understand learning activities through performance assessment in elementary dance course. Informant was 4-year experienced teacher has running dance class with 4th grade 19 female children, and 4 dance notes(as a dance journal), 19 self-evaluation forms, 19 peer-evaluation forms, 19 descriptions of impression, and teacher's performance assessment sheet were collected to be analyzed qualitatively. Dance notes have information such as inner developmental process in each group and purpose of children's learning, and the role and relationship among each participants. Teacher's assessment sheet was noted in pretty simple manner, however, was holistic and intuitive about teaching-learning activity. Children's self and peer assessment sheets were showed that questioning by paper sheets is easier to collect data than interview for unexperienced and passive children. And by comparing contents between children's assessment sheets and descriptions of impression, making children to answer to relatively specific questions with 'why they think so' during class time might be having information more about passive, lower grade, and unexperienced children's thoughts. While making them answer to open questions is might be having more information for the active, higher grade, experienced children. Consequently, it was not so hard to understand children's learning activities, however, the matter was time that teacher has to put more on collecting and analyzing those assessment data. The following study must be carried about performance assessment and teaching-learning activities in condition that running dance course with given learning standards and assessment standards as well as integrated with the other arts disciplines.
