Decrease of birth rate brings out the shortage of manpower and weakening of the economic growth in every country. In this study, I have discussed the problems encountered by the departments of dance in Korea due to the decreases of candidates for entering the university, which results from lowering the total fertility rate. According to the national statistical year books about education and employment, the entrance quota and the number of graduates in the dance departments show the negative compound annual growth rate(CAGR) from 2004 to 2014. Also, private dance academies are indirectly identified to be in a serious status. To solve the facing problems, seven corresponding measures are suggested.
