라반동작분석법을 통한 현대무용의 안무성향 -마사 그라함과 머스 커닝햄 작품을 중심으로-

Abstract

Laban Movement Analysis enables us to approach to research objectively by means of systematic analytic technical vocabularies in understanding dance directors' aesthetic theory of dance. LMA provides us with comprehensive vocabularies in order to understand expressional elements of movement and substantial concept about movement. Thereby, it can be seen as valuable methods for extending scholastic areas. Purpose of this study is to understand mutually different tendency of dance composition of two works with common aspect of 'basic physical movement' described in the LMA: Laban Movement Analysis by comparatively analyzing them. In addition, as the result of analyzing movements by applying LMA on the basis of 'basic physical movement', the researcher thinks that two dance directors' movement dispositions can be explained, though excessively limitedly, by menas of objective technical terms through LMA.
