In this study we investigate initial failure and reinvention of Swan Lake, a masterpiece of classic ballet, based on criticism and journals of the time, and review the meaning of numerous brave challenges up until it becomes one of the most beloved ballets in the world. This will help we build theoretical materials about history of dance and reconfirm artists' attitudes toward the arts so far, so that we can contribute to confirm values that future dance artists should have.
Abstract
