국내 장애인의 체육 중심 여가 연구 동향 분석: 2010년~2023년 연구를 중심으로

Abstract

This study aims to examine the trends in research related to leisure, disability, and sports conducted in South Korea, to review the achievements to date, identify problems, and suggest future directions for leisure studies focused on physical activities for disabled individuals, providing a foundation for further development. For this purpose, academic papers were collected through domestic academic research search sites using the keywords leisure, disability, and sports, and through a classification analysis process, 26 papers were selected for analysis. The findings are as follows: First, although research in the related fields has been conducted from 2010 to 2023, the number and scope of studies were limited. Second, an analysis of the research subjects showed that studies predominantly focused on individuals with physical disabilities, indicating a lack of diversity in other types of disabilities and age groups. Third, the field of recreational sports was the most researched, with school sports and e-sports emerging as areas requiring foundational research and basic investigations. Fourth, both qualitative and quantitative research methods were evenly utilized, suggesting the need for mixed-methods research for more in-depth studies and policy development based on diverse research contents in related fields. Lastly, foundational studies and scale development research that can serve as basic data for the fields of leisure, disability, and sports should be conducted, alongside the development of programs and practical R&D research to provide substantive assistance.
