예비교사들의 자아개념, 자기결정성과 교사신념과의 관계

본 연구의 목적은 예비교사들의 자아개념(비학문적 자아개념, 학문적 자아개념)과 자기결정성(자율성, 관계성, 유능성)이 교사신념에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가에 대하여 알아보는데 있다. 연구목적을 수행하기 위하여 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 최종 종속변수인 교사신념에 영향을 미치는 자아개념을 외생변수, 자기결정성을 매개변수로 설정한 완전매개모형인 가설모형 1과 부분매개모형인 가설모형 2 그리고 자기결정성을 외생변수, 자아개념을 매개변수로 설정한 완전매개모형인 가설모형 3과 부분매개모형인 가설모형 4를 설정하였다. 모형검증을 위하여 충북지역에 위치한 대학교의 교직과정을 이수하는 대학생을 대상으로 실시한 설문지를 바탕으로, AMOS 7.0을 활용한 구조방정식모형으로 분석을 실시하였다. 모형들의 적합도 지수를 비교한 결과, 가설모형 1을 최종모형으로 선택하였다. 연구결과, 자아개념 중 비학문적 자아개념은 자기결정성 요인인 자율성과 관계성에, 그리고 학문적 자아개념은 유능성에 유의미한 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 비학문적 자아개념은 교사신념에 직접적인 영향보다는 관계성을 통하여 간접적인 영향을 미치고, 학문적 자아개념 역시 교사신념에 직접적인 영향보다는 유능성을 통하여 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 예비 교사들의 교사신념을 향상시키기 위해서는 긍정적인 자아개념을 향상시키는 것이 우선적으로 이루어져야 할 과제이며, 이에 향상된 긍정적인 자아개념은 심리적 욕구인 자기결정성의 정도를 높여 결국에는 교사신념도 발달시킬 수 있다고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of self-conception and self-determination on teachers belief of preservice teachers. To accomplish this purpose, a total of 205 college students in teacher education were sampled. The instruments used for the study were self-conception Scale, self-determination Scale, and teachers belief Scale. Structuinl equation mf-eling(SEM) usliefAMOS 7.0 was employed to examine the relationships.
