우체국으로 대표되는 국내 우편사업자인 우정사업본부는 편지 배달과 같은 전통적인 우편업무만을 담당하던 데에서 물류서비스 제공자로의 변화를 계획하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 RFID 기술 기반의 유비쿼터스 환경에서 실시간으로 정보를 획득하여 공유하고 관리하게 되는 실시간 공급망관리(rSCM)의 개념과 전략을 우체국에서의 적용을 중심으로 제시하고자 한다. 실시간 기업(RTE)의 개념을 확장하여 SCM 프로세스 중 주문, 운송, 창고 관리에 대해 전통적 SCM과의 기술상의, 시스템 구조상의 차이를 분석하였고, 우편업무 적용을 위한 정보시스템 고도화 및 다단계 공급망 관리에 대한 rSCM 전략을 예와 함께 설명하였다. 또한 rSCM 전략의 도입으로 인해 기대할 수 있는 고객 및 사업자 관점에서의 성능 차이에 대해서도 간략히 분석하였다.
Abstract
Korea Post places emphasis on providing logistics services as well as the traditional postal service. In this study, we suggest the concept and strategy of the real-time supply chain management(rSCM) in the ubiquitous environments. It is based on the radio-frequency identification(RFID) technology, which makes possible data acquisition and information sharing in real-time, and will be applied to the postal service of Korea Post. We analyze different aspects of technology and system-architecture from the traditional management about order, transportation and warehouse among the supply chain processes. And we illustrate the strategy of rSCM by giving some examples of postal processing. The strategy is considered from a standpoint about advancement of information system and management of multi-echelon supply chain. In addition, expected benefits of rSCM are analyzed briefly.
