This study aims to test the hypothesized relationships between supply chain integration and supply chain agility by performing a meta-analytic review of the empirical research. We summarized 9 empirical articles and generalized 10 correlations by using a meta-analytic process. As most of the literature suggested, the empirical evidence provided in this study confirmed that supply chain integration is significantly and positively associated with supply chain agility. The contribution of this paper is noteworthy in that, through the meta-analytic process, we have taken the first step toward generalizing previous empirical results showing how supply chain unification processes impact the capability to react to environmental changes.
