초록

This study proposes a job risk management matrix and presents the characteristics of each area of the matrix for aircraft ground handling services. The job risk management matrix is designed with the job risk level on the X-axis and the service technology level on the Y-axis. The characteristics of the four areas on this matrix are presented as the dimensions of “safety commitment of the safety manager, safety culture of the organization, safety knowledge, and workplace risk.” The results of the study show that the higher the safety commitment of the safety manager, the lower the risk of the workplace, and the higher the safety culture of the organization and the safety knowledge of the workers, the lower the risk of the workplace. In the high-risk/low-skill group, that is, in the case of low job technology, the relationship between the safety commitment of the safety manager and workplace risk was low. In the case of the high-risk/low-skill group, the average of each dimension is lower than in other areas. In low-technology jobs, tasks are less complex, leading to unclear safety manuals. Consequently, the dimensions considered in the study are at lower levels compared to other groups. This situation means that there are aspects that managers are out of the scope of management due to the low level of service technology. Therefore, in areas with low levels of service technology (high-risk, low-technology groups), continuous monitoring of clear work manuals and work methods will be important. In the case of workplace risks, the workplace risk levels in areas with low job technology levels were all statistically high, but there was no statistical difference in the workplace risk levels among groups with high levels of service technology. This study proposes a job risk management matrix, and it can be applied to various industries with many safety accident issues.
