수도권 도시철도 급행열차 운영 효과 분석

Abstract

The increase of population in the Seoul Metropolitan Area causes the congestion around the boundary of Seoul. The reasons are not only the transportation policy oriented to automobiles, but also the low-level service of the urban railways.This paper aims to suggest the ways to operate the express subway by adding the passing tracks to the existing facilities in order to speed-up the urban railways and to analyze the effects of it in the view of the changes of travel time, travel distance, demands.First, we compared the 6 subway lines, such as Ilsan, Bundang, Kwacheon, Ansan, Gyoungsu, Gyoungin, Gyoungwon with the four criteria, ① the compatibility of railway relative to auto, ② the elasticity of travel time, ③ the travel distance and the number of trips, ④ the construction cost of passing tracks. Finally, Ilsan was selected as the case study area, and we simulated SDI-RailSim which reports the optimal locations of passing tracks, the changes of demand and so on.Consequently, the speed of railway increases by 46∼51㎞/h, 2.62∼5.19% of the number of trips increase, and 4.45∼5.82% of the travel time per person decrease by adding the passing tracks. Also, in the comparison of scenarios we could make the different decisions by the policy goal, namely the maximization of effects relative to cost or the total demands.
