Abstract
The change called digital transformation is not limited to large retailers but is occurring in all areas of individuals and small and medium-sized businesses. Small business owners, generally known as self-employed individuals encompassing a variety of business types, are also not free from the innovation known as digital transformation. In order to strengthen the competitiveness of small business owners through digital transformation, it is important to first measure small business owners' awareness of digital transformation. Looking at the research results, first, it was found that small business owners' tendency to focus on promotion focus had a positive effect on their intention of digital transformation. Second, small business owners' network density and network centrality were found to have no statistically significant effect on intention of digital transformation. Third, the government's policy support for small business owners was found to have a positive effect on intention of digital transformation. Lastly, small business owners' intention of digital transformation was found to have a positive effect on actual adoption of digital transformation. Based on the research results, theoretical implications, practical implications, and future research directions were presented.
