가구통행실태조사 자료를 이용한 근린환경과 보행통행의 상관관계 연구: 서울시를 대상으로
A Study on Effects of Neighborhood’s Environments on Residents’ Walking Trips Using Household Travel Diary Survey Data in Seoul

본 연구는 서울시를 대상으로 2010년 가구통행실태조사 데이터를 이용하여 지역주민들의 보행통행에 영향을 미치는 근린환경특성을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석대상은 서울시 424개 행정동, 240,864명의 통행데이터이며, 임의절편로짓모형을 이용하여 분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과 보행통행은 전체 통행의 약 33.40%를 차지하는 것으로 나타났으나 보행통행 비율에 있어서는 행정동 별로 3.2~56.7%까지 큰 차이를 보였다. 이어서 지역주민들의 보행통행에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과 개인의 사회경제적 특성과 함께 주거유형, 토지이용혼합이 보행통행에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 근린의 블럭크기가 작을수록 지역주민들의 보행통행이 늘어나는 것으로 나타났으며 경사가 심한 지역에서 지역주민들의 보행통행이 크게 줄어드는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study analyzes neighborhood environments to influence on residents’ walking trips using the data of 2010 household travel diary survey in Seoul Metropolitan Area. 240,864 subjects from 424 neighborhoods in Seoul was selected as the final sample, and a statistical analysis was carried out by applying Random Intercept Logit Model. The results shows that walking trips account for 33.40% of whole travel trips, there are huge differences among neighborhoods from 3.2% to 56.7%. In addition, the results shows that neighborhood’s environments have influenced on walking trip, i.e. a high level of landuse mix in a neighborhood and housing type affect residents’ walking trips. Also, residents show a high level of walking trips in a neighborhood with small blocks, and residents have less walking trips in a region with a steep slope.
