고등학교 진로전담교사의 업무실행 유형 분류: 학교 및 개인요인 탐색 및 학생의 진로개발역량의 차이 검증

초록

본 연구는 진로전담교사들의 업무실행 유형을 분류하고, 학교 및 교사 개인 요인의 영향을 살펴보는 것과 함께업무실행 유형에 따른 학생들의 진로개발역량 수준 차이를 파악해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2019년에 수집된 진로교육현황조사 자료를 활용하여 잠재프로파일을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 진로전담교사 업무실행 수준에 따라 저수준실행 집단, 중간수준 실행 집단, 고수준 실행 집단의 세 가지 잠재프로파일이 도출되었다. 둘째, 영향요인으로는학교의 배경 변수들 중 학교 설립 유형, 학교 규모, 학교 소재지, 고등학교 유형이, 학교의 진로교육 환경 변수들중 진로교육 연간 계획, 연구학교·시범학교·선도학교 여부, 진로전담교사와 담임교사와의 연계가, 진로전담교사의개인 배경 변수들 중 성별, 연령, 교직경력, 진로전담교사의 부장교사 여부가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학생의진로개발역량은 진로전담교사가 고수준 실행 집단의 경우 다른 두 집단에 비해 유의하게 높았다. 이러한 결과를바탕으로 진로전담교사 정책을 진단하고 효과적인 진로교육을 위한 대안을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to classify the latent profiles of work performance of career teachers, to explore the factors of schools and teachers that affect the classification of latent profiles, and to verify the differences in students' career development competencies according to the latent profiles. To that end, latent profiles were analyzed using the career education status survey data collected in 2019. As results of the study, first, three latent profiles of low-level, medium-level and high-level performance groups were derived according to the level of performance of career teachers. Second, among the background variables of the school, the type of school establishment, the size of the school, the location of the school, and the type of high school were significant. Among the variables of the school's career education environment, the annual plan of career education, whether it is a research school, demonstration school, or leading school, the connection between career teachers and the homeroom teachers were significant. And among the personal background variables of career teachers, career experience and whether they were senior teachers were found to be significant. Third, students' career development competencies were significantly higher in the high-level performance groups than those of the other two group. Based on these results, the study diagnosed whether the career-only teacher policy was being carried out properly and suggested alternatives for effective career education.
