한국형 번아웃 증후군 형성과정 및 대처방안에 관한 근거이론적 접근

본 연구의 목적은 한국형 번아웃 증후군에 이르는 원인 및 형성과정, 번아웃 증후군 증상, 번아웃 증후군에 대한 대처와 관련 요인을 탐색하고, 이들 사이의 논리적 연관성을 밝혀 이론모형을 개발하는데 있다. 이를 위해 근거이론적 방법을 적용하여 해석하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인과적 조건과 상황적 맥락의 동시적 영향에 의해 번아웃 증후군을 체험하게 되었다. 둘째, 중심현상인 번아웃 증후군에 강도를 완화하거나 변화를 주는 사건과 대처방안에 영향을 주는 중재적 조건으로 조직 내･외적으로 접근이 분석되었다. 셋째, 결과의 상위범주 중 자아인식 개선은 작용/상호작용전략의 자신과의 교감으로, 자기희생은 중심현상의 번아웃 증후군 체험 중 개인의 부정적 정서와 냉소적 태도로 일부 환류되는 것으로 분석되었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate causes, formation processes, symptoms, coping strategies and relevant factors of Korean-type burnout syndrome from an emic perspective, and to examine the logical relevance between them to develop a theoretical model. To achieve our goals, we apply the grounded theory approach. The main results of this study are as follows. First, patients experienced burnout syndrome caused by the simultaneous influence of causal conditions and situational contexts. Second, internal and external factors in the organization were identified as the interventional conditions affecting the events and coping strategies reliving or changing the intensity of burnout syndrome, major p henomenon. Third, am ong upper categories of the results, self-awareness improvement was identified as the sharing of the self-feeling in action/ interaction strategies. Self-sacrifice was identified as a partial reflux in negative emotion and cynical attitudes of individuals while it was experienced burnout syndrome of major phenomena.
