초록
To study possible effects of exercise training on the expression of GDNF and 5-HT in the MPTP-induced Parkinson's disease, we used the aged male C57BL/6 mice. The animals were randomly assigned into four groups(n = 8 in each group): the saline injection(control) group, the saline injection plus exercise group, the MPTP-injection group, and the MPTP-injection plus exercise group. At the beginning of the experiment, the mice(8 per group) received an intraperitoneal(i.p.) injection of MPTP(30 mg/kg) in saline at 24 h intervals for 7 days. Mice were exercised for 7 days(30min/day) at 12 m/min at 5% grade for old mice. We show that such running results in increment of the GDNF and 5-HT system in hippocampal DG and raphe, and in particular that sedentary rats on deprivation of running lead to significant decreases of GDNF and 5-HT expression in the hippocampal DG and raphe from male aged mice. In conclusions, we reported that GDNF and 5-HT expression was significant increased by treadmill exercise in the MPTP-induced PD old male mice.
