파리 국제 대학도시의 유학생 공동기숙사 건축 특성 연구

본 논문은 파리 국제 대학도시의 기능과 특성, 도시 계획적 의미를 살피고, 배치계획과 그 의미, 그를 구성하는 40개관의 건축계획을 분석하여 통시적 건축의 변화와 공통적인 건축적 특성을 추출함으로써, 그 건축적 의미와 대학공동기숙사의 건축 계획적 참조점을 찾으려는 목적이다. 이를 위하여 대학도시의 도시 계획적 사항과 배치계획, 건축 계획을 분석하여 건축가의 작품 의도를 추적하였다. 파리 대학도시는 도심의 외곽 경계선의 주거지역에 위치하여 거주성과 교통 편리성을 가지며 문화도시로서의 특별한 도시적 장소성을 제공한다. 배치계획은 처음 대칭적, 중정 형 블록 방식으로 시작되었으나 시대에 따라 자유로움이 증가되었으며 전체적으로 전통적인 기본 틀 안에 이국정서적인 분위기를 가미하고 있다. 건축계획은 절충주의 건축과 대학도시 만의 특징인 풍토주의 건축으로 시작되었으나 시대의 변화에 따라 근대주의 건축으로 흐름이 변화하고, 최근에는 현대건축이 출현하고 있다. 향후 한국의 대학과 도시에서 대학공동기숙사를 현실화 한다면 파리대학도시의 이러한 선례를 참고하여 새로운 개념을 창출할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
This paper is an attempt to search for the architectural references of university cooperative housing by analysis of International University City of Paris. An analysis of its meanings in Paris urban plan and site plan, and of its functions, characteristics of architectural plan are deprived from the 40 housings of university city of Paris. As results of analysis, University City is located in housing area at the edge of central business district, has conveniences for living and transportation, and provides urban placeness for the "Citéculture". Site planning was symmetrical, blocked around patio, but recently formed more freely, exotic mood. Architectural planning are made first by eclecticism and vernacular style but recently by modernism and contemporary architecture. By a precedent of university city of Paris, the concept of university cooperative housing will be a vital point of reference for metropolitan and university officers and architectural designers today.
