청소년의 인터넷 게임중독이 우울, 공격성, 자아존중감에 미치는 영향

초록

본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 인터넷 게임중독에 대한 수준별 실태 파악을 통해서 게임중독 정도가 우울, 공격성, 자아존중감에 미치는 영향력을 분석하여 효과적인 청소년 지도를 위한 기초자료를 마련하는데 있다. 연구를 위한 조사대상자들의 추출방식은 확률표본 추출방식에 의해 무작위 표집방식을 적용하였고, 최종 분석 대상은 620명이었다. 연구의 자료분석 방법은 SPSSWIN 13.0 통계 패키지 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였고, 적용된 주요 통계기법은 빈도분석, t-검정, X²-검증, 일원변량분석, 중다회귀 분석, 최적화 척도 회귀분석 등이었다. 본 연구결과 우울 수준에서는 “고위험군”의 표준화 계수가 남 β=.215, 여 β=.273, 공격성 수준에서는 “고위험군”의 표준화 계수가 남 β=.325, 여 β=.284, 그리고 자아존중감 수준에서는 “비중독군”의 표준화 계수가 남 β=.284, 여 β=.342로 상대적으로 크게 나타났다. 이에 대한 설명력은 우울 수준에서 남 13%, 여 17%, 공격성 수준 남 15%, 여 11%, 자아존중감 남 6%, 여7%로 인터넷 중독 수준이 청소년 우울, 공격성, 자아존중감에 각각 영향력을 미치고 있음이 입증 되었다.

Abstract

The purpose for this study was to determine the influences on the melancholy, offensiveness and self-esteem of adolescents according to the levels of Internet game addiction. Date were collected from 620 high schools and middle schools students residing in Korea. The statistic analysis of this study employed SPSSWIN 13.0, and the main methods of statistics were frequency analysis, t-test, X²-test one-way ANOVA, multiple stepwise regression, and optimal scaling regression. The statistical attention level for verifying hypothesis was set at 5%. The result certified through this study is as following. In the relation to the melancholy, offensiveness and self-esteem of adolescents in according with Internet game addiction, the level of respondents identified with the category where melancholy was "high-addiction level (M, β=.215/ F, β=.273)" offensiveness as "high-addiction level (M, β=.325/ F, β=.284)"and self-esteem as "not addiction level(M, β=.284/ F, β=.342)" displayed relatively the higher point. The influence of Internet game addiction types on the melancholy, offensiveness and self-esteem of adolescents proved that the variables association with melancholy M=13%(F=17%), offensiveness M=15%(F=11%), self-esteem M=6% (F=7%).
