개방사회의 윤리적 경영에 대한 체계윤리적 이해

오늘날 기업의 윤리적 경영은 개방사회의 시대적 과제이다. 앞으로 윤리적 경영 없이는 기업의 생존은 보장받지 못할 것이다. 그러나 우리사회의 현실은 상당한 개선에도 불구하고 사회전체의 경제적 효율성과 사회적 성과를 달성할 수 있는 윤리적 경영의 기반이 마련되지 못했다고 할 수 있다. 윤리적 경영의 이론적 근거로는 도덕 경제학적 접근과 사회계약론적 접근이 있다. 양 접근은 각각 타당한 이유와 근거를 갖고 있으나 전자는 기업이 마땅히 가져야 할 사회적 책임의식이 결여되었으며, 후자는 현실기업이 처한 복합적인 환경을 고려할 수 있는 방법론이 결여되어 있다. 그러면 윤리적 경영에 있어서 ‘효율적이면서도 당위적이고 방법론적인’측면을 공히 충족시킬 수 있는 이론적 근거는 무엇인가? 체계이론에 바탕한 체계윤리는 불확실하고 급속한 변화속의 경제생태계에서 살아가는 기업의 윤리적 경영에 대한 이론과 방법을 제공할 수 있다. 진화적 인식에 기초한 체계윤리에 의하면, 윤리적 경영은 기업환경의 요구에 대한 개방적 수용의 인식구조와 함께 진화적 가치인식, 자기조직적 조건, 참여와 공유의 문화를 토대로 한 실천구조를 통해서 실현될 수 있다. 체계로서의 기업이 사회적 의무로서 행하는 윤리적 경영은 생존과 적응 뿐 아니라, 사회체계 발전의 창조적 요동으로서 기능한다. 윤리적 경영은 과거 이윤극대화를 추구하는 합리적 과학경영의 생태계를 대체시킬 것으로 전망된다.
Abstract
Today the ethical administration of enterprise is the needs of the times. That is, any enterprises' survival will not be guaranteed without ethical administration in the future. However, in spite of some improvement, the basis of ethical administration has not been established, which is necessary to achieve economical effectiveness and social development of our open society. There are two theoretical backgrounds about ethical administration; one is moral economics approach, and the other is social contract approach. Both approaches have their reasonable standpoints, but the former has no a sense of responsibility that is necessary for enterprise administration. The latter has no desirable methodology to solve the complex problems of our present enterprises. Then what is the sufficient theory to satisfy effective, reasonable and theoretical condition? The systems ethics must be enough to provide the necessary theory and methodology for many enterprises facing uncertain and rapidly changing situation. According to the systems ethics based on evolutional cognition, ethical administration can be achieved by accepting social demands as well as by the practical structure with evolutional value, self-organizational condition, and participation and common ownership. The enterprise, which is one of the social systems, should play a role of creative fluctuation for social system development through ethical administration. Also, the ethical administration is an alternative way to achieve the enterprises' survival and development, which is different from the past and old-fashioned way to pursue only their profits.
