어린이집 공공성 강화를 위한 어린이집 원장과 보육교사의 인식과 경험 탐색

본 연구는 어린이집의 원장과 보육교사의 어린이집 공공성에 대한 인식과 경험을 살펴보 기 위해 2021년 9월 동안 대전광역시의 부모협동유형을 제외한 6개 어린이집 유형별 원장과 보육교사를 대상으로 초점집단인터뷰를 실시하였고, 주제별텍스트분석방법으로 분석하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 어린이집 원장과 보육교사는 어린이집의 공공성이 이전에 비 해 높은 수준으로 달성되고 있으나, 여전히 부모, 교사 모두의 노력이 필요하다는 인식을 보였다. 둘째, 어린이집 공공성 실행과 강화의 과정에서 어린이집 운영의 어려움, 취약특 수보육의 공공성 강화에 대한 기여, 보육교사 보호 지지 체계의 필요성 등을 경험하였다. 이 같은 결과를 토대로 어린이집 공공성 강화를 위해 유형별-지역별 맞춤형 정책개발 등의 방안을 논의하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the perceptions and experiences of directors and teachers on publicness. During September 2021, the focus group interviews were conducted. As a results, firstly, although the publicness of the childcare center is achieved at a higher level than before; however, there was still a perception that the efforts of both parents and teachers were needed. Secondly, they experienced the difficulty in operating child care centers, contributing to the enhancement of the publicness thanks to special childcare, and the need for a support system to protect childcare teachers. Based on the results, several ways were discussed to strengthen the publicness of childcare centers such as the development of policy of the specific focusing on childcare centers’ types and region.
