Abstract
Aleksandr Genis defines that Russia's post-modernism is the product of reckless reaction against socialistic realism inducing Russian culture for a long time. He points out that post-modernism literature of Russia is a projection of reality and has its root on aesthetic principle of realism, which plays a social role resisting against unreasonable corruption. According to him, present Russian writers enjoy the self-control of literature, which was controlled by totalitarianism and they add aesthetic value, which is created by indivisible relationship between reality and literature, to the scope of creation. The tendency includes new tendency of Russian literature in the 21st century. It can be called neorealism. Most of all, the works of female writers, who have done eye-opening creative activity shows the characteristic of present literature well. Among them, as a representative writer, there is Tat'jana Tolstaja. Her work is based on the traditional character of Russian literature, 'small human'. Her work is the prologue about poor and isolated people. The writer participates in the life of character actively and mentions the issues of existence(birth, death and fate) that can't be understood logically. The paper surveys the characteristic more closely through the analysis on <White Paper>. By suggesting the psychoanalytic theory as a framework of analysis and considering the relationship between the characteristic of hero's mental world and reality, it shows writer's outlook about desolated humanity going up to the egocentricity and extreme egoism.
