Abstract
To realize the vision of Northeast Asian economic hub state, the proclaimed goal of the present Korean government, requires the wider range of conditions than mostly suggested economic policies and hardware-building. As for external conditions, new multilateral international relations among the states in Northeast Asian region including US should be established, in which the North Korean nuclear crisis is to be solved. As to domestic conditions, the Korean society must be a liberal system open to ideas, cultures and standard of the global system as well as Northeast Asian region. Also it is necessary to set up the political and social arrangement to harmoniously share the costs and dividends drawn from the liberalization of markets among various social classes and groups.
