Abstract
The maritime boundary delimitation is directly related to the vast economic interest of coastal state parties. Recently China and Vietnam have concluded「The Agreement between the People's Republic of China and Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the Delimitation of the Territorial Seas, Exclusive Economic Zone and Continental Shelf in the Beibu Gulf」 and 「The Agreement between the Government of People's Republic of China and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on Fishery Cooperation in Beibu Gulf」 and it's Protocol. The two state's parties concluded the former agreement on the Equity principle considering all the relevant circumstances. Relevant circumstances include the length of coastline, figure of coastline, existence and position of island or islands, specialty of geology & topography, and various factors such as economy and security. The two Gulf of Tonkin Agreements basically appled the principle of delimitation according to the median line. China has traditionally adopted the maritime boundary delimitation principle of ‘half and half’. First of all, the Korea ought to research and study on China's international practice in maritime boundary delimitation. Hereafter the Korea is prepared exactly West Sea and South-China Sea maritime boundary delimitation between China.
