There is increasing interest in the freight transport through NSR(Northern Sea Route) along the thawing of the Arctic sea ice due to climate change. We derive an strategic industries and attract cargoes of Ulsan area accessible to the NSR from the industry and trade structure analysis of this study. Shift Share Method was used for industry structure analysis and trade specialization index TSI and GL was used for trade structure analysis. It was selected as the items to be considered as priority cargo, or SITC 3 oil and bituminous mineral oil(333), petroleum and oils obtained from bituminous minerals, and their preparations(334) in the Ulsan area.
