치과위생사의 직무스트레스와 건강상태 및 신체화에 관한 연구

초록

본 연구는 치과위생사의 직무스트레스 요인과 정도를 살펴보고 직무스트레스와 건강상태 및 신체화의 상관관 계를 파악함으로써 직무스트레스의 효율적 관리 및 건강 증진을 위한 방안을 수립하는데 도움이 되는 기초 자료를 제공하고자 수도권지역의 구강진료기관에 근무하고 있는 치과위생사 281명을 대상으로 연구하여 다음과 같은 결 과를 얻었다. 1. 조사대상자의 평균 연령은 25.1세였고, 평균 경력은 42.8개월이었으며 일 평균근무시간은 8-9시간이 55.5%, 근무형태는 주6일이 33.8%로 가장 높게 나타 났다. 2. 한국형 직무스트레스 측정도구를 사용하여 치과위생 사의 직무스트레스를 분석한 결과 직무스트레스는 45.24점이었으며 7개 하위요인 중 직무요구가 56.17 점으로 가장 높았다. 3. 근무하는 병원의 규모와 근무시간에 따른 건강상태 를 분석한 결과 대학병원에 근무하는 조사대상자들 의 건강상태 점수가 유의하게 높았으며 10시간 이상 근무하는 집단에서 유의하게 낮게 나타났다(P < 0.05). 4. 주5일 근무에 야간진료와 공휴일진료를 병행하는 집 단의 신체화 점수가 18.48점으로 높게 나타나 다른 근무형태의 집단들과 유의한 차이를 보였고 근무시 간은 10시간 이상 근무하는 집단의 신체화 점수평균 이 18.64점으로 가장 높게 나타났다(P < 0.05). 5. 직 무스트레스는 건강상태와 약한 음의 상관관계를 보였고(-.341, p < 0.01), 신체화 경향과는 약한 양의 상관관계가 나타났으며(.330, p < 0.01), 건강상태과 신체화 경향 간에는 강한 음의 상관관계를 보였다(- .762, p < 0.01). 또한 직무스트레스는 건강상태의 하 위 요인인 신체건강, 정신건강과 약한 음의 상관관계 가 나타났으며(p < 0.01), 신체건강과 정신건강은 통 계적으로 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다(.588, p < 0.01). 6. 직무스트레스 하위요인들과 건강상태 및 신체화 경 향 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 건강상태는 직무스 트레스 하위요인들 중 직무자율요인을 제외한 직무 요구, 직장문화, 보상부적절, 조직체계, 관계갈등 (p < 0.01), 직무불안정(p < 0.05) 요인들과 약한 음의 상관관계를 보였고 신체화 경향은 직무스트레스 하 위요인들 중 직무자율요인을 제외한 직무요구, 직장 문화, 보상부적절, 조직체계, 직무불안정(p < 0.01), 관계갈등(p < 0.05) 요인들과 약한 양의 상관관계가 나타났다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental data for managing occupational stress and promoting health by investigating the factors of dental hygienists' occupational stress and the relationship among occupational stress, health status and somatization. The subjects in this study are 281 dental hygienists who have worked at dental clinic in the metropolitan area. The findings of this study are as follows: 1. The average age of the subjects is 25.1 and the average working career is 42.8 months. 8-9 hours is the most frequent average working time as 55.5% and a 6-day workweek appears most frequently with 33.8%. 2. The total average of occupational stress is 45.24 points and out of the seven sub-factors, job demand is the highest as 56.17 points. 3. A group of working at dental university hospitals scores significantly high and a group of working over 10 hours per day scores significantly low in health status (p<0.05). 4. A group of a 5-day workweek, night and holiday duty scores 18.64 which is significantly high in somatization(p<0.05). 5. Occupational stress have slightly negative correlation (-.341, p<0.01) with health status and slightly positive correlation (.330, p<0.01) with somatization. There is a strong, negative correlation between health status and somatization(-.762, p<0.01). 6. Health status and somatization have a slightly positive correlation with every other sub-factor of occupational stress except job self-control.
