Objectives: The purpose of this review is to analyze the domestic study trends on adenomyosis treated with Korean medicine. Methods: We investigated the studies on Korean medicine treatment for adenomyosis via searching 4 online databases. After searching studies, we analyzed selected studies. Results: 9 clinical studies were selected and all studies were case reports. The major complaints of adenomyosis were dysmenorrhea and menorrhagia. The most applied intervention for adenomyosis was herbal medication. In addition, acupuncture and moxibustion were performed. All cases showed that chief complaints and accompanying symptoms were improved. Conclusions: The effect on Korean Medicine treatment for Adenomyosis had mostly positive results. However, further large, well-designed clinical trials are needed to establish the foundation of Korean Medicine treatment for Adenomyosis.
