Abstract
ISO-TimeML est une formule internationale de l'annotation sémantique des expressions temporelles des langues, y compris des expressions de la temporalité événementielle. Elle est proposée par la norme ISO (International Organization for Standardization) où J. Pustejovsky et son équipe ont joué un rôle principal. Cette formule a été appliquée à l'anglais, au chinois, au coréen et à l'italien. Cette étude vise à introduire ISO-TimeML comme métalangage pour la normalisation des expressions temporelles et à l'appliquer à la langue française. Ce faisant, nous voulons examiner si ce métalangage est apte à exprimer proprement les expressions temporelles françaises et si nécessaire, nous essayerons de proposer une révision alternative. Nous présenterons, dans un premier temps, ISO-TimeML en l'état actuel. Nous commencerons par introduire l'objectif et les caractéristiques de cette annotation sémantique. Ensuite, nous décriverons la représentation des événements, des entités temporelles et des relations entre les événements et les entités temporelles. Ce faisant, nous prendrons quelques exemples de représentation des données en anglais et en coréen. Dans un deuxième temps, nous appliquerons ISO-TimeML à la langue française, en nous concentrant sur la représentation de la temporalité des événements. Nous décrirons d'abord les principes de l'annotation partagée par toutes les langues considérées dans le cadre d'ISO-TimeML. Ensuite, en examinant des exemples français, nous essayerons de réviser les attributs du temps verbal (tense), de l'aspect, du mode (mood), de la forme verbale (vform), et de la modalité (modality). Dans un troisième temps, nous présenterons les sujets sur lesquels nous voudrions travailler dans l'avenir comme les entités temporelles, la classification des événements, l'ordre temporel, les relations aspectuelles et les subordonnées. Nous avons deux annexes. Le premier résume tous les attributs et leurs valeurs, proposés par ISO-TimeML dans sept tableaux. Le second représente quelques exemples en français et en coréen en appliquant les attributs révisés.
