Abstract

The Purpose of this study would contribute to better business education in commercial high school. Form the teachers viewpoint, it was investigated on the actual condition and the problem for business education in commercial high school. In many fields the computerization of accounting has become realized. Now is the time when people are searching for the computerization of accounting which will be in common use. In spite of this, the educational circle fails to have an adequate understanding of accounting not reaching even a preparatory stage. In this education of computerized accounting based on a survey of the education of computerized accounting in korea. The result of the analysis can be summarized as follows. First, more credit hours should be required for accounting and computerized accounting courses should be included in a commercial high school. Second, the basic level of the computerized education should be improved with the help of the consolidation of the accounting-related and computer-related curricula. A guidance of the preparation for the exam for the licence of accounting should be provided with a view to enhance the effectiveness of computerized accounting education. Third, the security of offices for special bookkeeping and their computerization should precede for the efficient management of computerized accounting. Financial support should be granted if necessary. Fourth, since most of the commercial high schools are lacking in the understanding of the deed for and the concept of computerized accounting is in need, the should double their efforts for the enhancement of the teaching method and be endowed with more opportunities for training.
