이 연구의 목적은 2007년 개정 교육과정에 따라 이루어지게 될 상업계 고등학교 교과서 개편에 대비하여, 상업계 고등학교 전문 교과서의 개선 방향을 제안하기 위한 것이다. 상업계 고등학교 교육에서 교과서의 중요성은 아무리 강조해도 지나치지 않다. 상업계 고등학교 학생들이 이용할 수 있는 전문 교과 관련 참고서가 거의 없고 교사용 지도서가 전혀 없다는 점을 고려한다면, 상업계 고등학교 전문 교과서는 단순한 교과서 이상의 의미를 갖는다. 상업계 고등학교 교육은 교육의 목적, 대상, 학생들의 요구나 상황 등이 일반계 고등학교 교육과 다르기 때문에 상업계 고등학교에서 쓰이는 교과서는 상업계 고등학교 교육의 특수성을 반영하여 개발되어야 한다. 이 연구에서는 상업계 고등학교 전문 교과서의 개선 방향으로 다음의 세 가지를 제안하였다. 첫째, 구성주의에 기초한 교육의 관점에서 교과서가 만들어져야 한다. 둘째, 능력중심 교육을 가능하게 하는 방향으로 교과서가 만들어져야 한다. 셋째, 상업계 고등학교 전문 교과서 중에서 검정 교과서의 비율을 높이고 교과용 도서 검정 기준을 상업계 고등학교 교육 현실을 고려하여 개선해야 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to suggest the improvement of the specialized textbook in commercial high school. In commercial high school, the role of textbook is very important. There are few reference books that commercial high school students can use in studying subject. So, the specialized textbook in commercial high school has the meaning beyond the textbook. The commercial high school is different from the general high school in terms of the goal of education and students' needs. The textbooks in commercial high school should be developed in consideration of the character of commercial high school. In this study, three suggestion were made in the improvement of the specialized textbook in commercial high school. First, the textbook is to be developed on the basis of constructionism standpoint. Second, the textbook is to be developed in the direction that competency based education is possible. Third, the rate of authorized textbook in the commercial high school is to be raised and the textbook screening system is to be improved to meet the real situations of the commercial high school.
