Abstract
Objective : This study develops a group-based lifestyle intervention protocol to improve the health and quality of life of older adults. Essentially, by creating structured evidence-based programs, this study seeks to support better health outcomes and enhance the well-being of older adults. Methods and Design: An 8-session intervention program is evaluated over 2 months for community-dwelling older adults aged 65 years and over. This program focuses on physical activity, dietary habits, social relationships, and occupational participation. Participants are selected through a cognitive assessment. Changes in lifestyle, quality of life, and subjective health status will be measured before and after the program to determine its effectiveness. Conclusion : This protocol aims to improve older adults' health and quality of life through a systematic, group-based approach. The core components of the protocol include physical activity, nutrition, social relationships, and occupational participation, while using the KEEP strategy to promote behavioral change. This approach is expected to significantly enhance older adults' health and lifestyles. Future research should evaluate the protocol’s feasibility and effectiveness.
