Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between need of sport participation and the sport limitation, the sport motive of the individuals with a mental disability. The method of this study was to utilize a questionnaire of 49 questions specially designed for the individuals with a mental disability. The collected data was tested using the T-test, one-way ANOVA, and correlation analysis which had been based on SPSS WIN 10.0 program.As a results, the disabilities had a high desire of sport participant. But they had obstacles because of timly, economic obstacle and participation of sports were found to be more higher desire of sport participation but less obstacles.
