대학-지역사회 연계 장애인체육 프로그램의 운영실태 분석

본 연구는 최근 장애인체육 프로그램의 확산과 관련하여 대학과 지역사회가 연계된 장애인체육 프로그램에 대한 특징을 확인하고 효율적인 운영 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구 대상 프로그램은 국내의 6개 지역사회 장애인체육 프로그램으로 체육 프로그램의 개설, 구성원 및 그들의 역할, 프로그램 내용, 지원 서비스에 관련된 연구문제가 중점적으로 분석되었다. 이미 지역사회 자원을 연계한 장애인 생활체육 활성화 방안(최승권, 2003b)에서 정책 지원을 통한 시설의 개선, 지도자 BANK 체계 확립, 프로그램의 다양화와 통합 프로그램 보급, 홍보 체제의 구축에 관한 문제가 제기되기도 했지만, 아직까지 현장에서의 세부적인 문제들이 심도 있게 파악되지는 못하였다. 본 연구는 이러한 측면에서 우리나라의 지역사회 장애인체육 프로그램의 현실적인 상황을 파악하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 판단한다. 본 연구를 통해 앞으로 대학과 지역사회가 연계된 장애인체육 프로그램을 시행하는데 있어 다음과 같은 사항들이 요구됨을 제언하고자 한다.
Abstract
This study was performed to understand an ideal university-based adapted physical activity program in communities. I interviewed 6 APA teachers in Seoul and Kyunggi area and collected documents about the community APA programs. Thematic analysis was used for data analysis of collected interview data, field notes, and documents. Triangulation and peer debriefing were used after that. The results of this study were as follows: First, the program has been started due to the need of demander and the challenging spirit of educational staff. Second, the role of every staff in program were focused to several minor person. Third, the purpose of program had specificity to improve motor & leisure skill. Lastly, the program was managed by the demander. The finding suggest that first, adapted physical activity programs in community should be guaranteed by the law. Second, APA instructor should be educated by the support of government legally. Third, university-based adapted physical activity programs in community should be connected and extended to rehabilitation programs. Fourth, support of government and universities should be assured to extend university-based adapted physical activity program.
