한국과 미국의 특수체육 연구동향 비교분석(2011-2015): APAE와 APAQ를 중심으로

본 연구는 한국과 미국의 특수체육학의 주요 학술지인 한국특수체육학회지(APAE)와 미국의 Adapted Physical Activity Quarterly(APAQ)에 게재된 학술연구를 대상으로 2011년부터 2015년 까지 이루어진 학술 연구 논문 280편을 연구분야, 연구주제, 연구대상, 연구방법의 연구동향을 비교·분석하여 국내외 특수체육학의 연구동향을 파악하고 이해하는데 의미 있는 자료를 제공하는 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 규명하기 위해 평가자간일치도 내용분석방법에 근거하였다. 그리고 SPSS 21.0 Program을 이용하여 두 학술지 간의 연구분야, 연구주제, 연구대상, 장애유형, 연구방법을 교차분석방법을 이용하여 분석하였으며, 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구분야의 경우 APAE는 생활체육/레크리에이션이 가장 많이 이루어졌으며, APAQ는 기타가 가장 많이 이루어졌다. 둘째, 연구주제의 경우 두 학술지 모두 행동측정 및 평가가 가장 많이 이루어진 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연구대상의 경우 두 학술지 모두 장애인을 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌으며, 장애유형의 경우 APAE는 지적장애를 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌으며, APAQ는 중복장애가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 연구방법의 경우 두 학술지 모두 실험연구가 가장 많이 이루어진 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
The purpose of study was to compare and analyze research topics in adapted physical activity (APA) between Korean’s APAE (Journal of Adapted Physical Activity & Exercise) and American’s APAQ (Adapted Physical Activity Quarterly) from 2011 to 2015. Classification analysis and inter-rater reliability were used to determine the purpose of study. Further, the cross analysis method was used to determine specific topics within APA by using SPSS 21.0 (e.g., participants, types of disabilities, research methods). Based on the comparison of these two journals, there were four results. First, in the specific areas within APA, life activities and recreations were mainly investigated in APAE, but the others were mainly investigated in APAQ. Second, behavioral measurements and assessments were mainly used to determine research topics in both journals. Third, individuals with intellectual disabilities were mostly investigated in APAE, but multiple disabilities were mostly investigated in APAQ. Fourth, experimental research was mainly used in both journals
