초등학교 특수학급 특수교사가 장애학생 체육활동 지도시 겪는 딜레마 사례분석: 근거이론을 중심으로

본 연구는 초등학교 특수학급 특수교사가 장애학생 체육활동 지도 시 겪는 딜레마가 무엇인지 이해하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상자는 3년 이상 초등학교 특수학급 학생의 체육교육을 경험한 교사 7명을 대상으로 인터뷰 하였으며, 결과분석은 Strauss와 Corbin(1990)이 제시한 근거이론 방법을 활용하여 개념 도출 및 패러다임을 구성하였다. 개방코딩 결과 34개의 개념과 14개의 하위범주 9개의 상위범주를 도출하였다. 연구결과 초등학교 특수학급 특수교사가 장애학생 체육활동 지도시 겪는 딜레마에 대한 중심현상은 ‘체육활동 지도의 어려움’으로 나타났으며, 중심현상에서 발생하는 인과적 조건에서는 ‘체육활동 지도과정의 힘든 점’으로 나타났다. 또한 상황적 맥락은 ‘개인적 차원’, ‘환경적 차원’, ‘제도적 차원‘으로 나타났으며, 중심현상은 중재적 상황으로 ’체육활동에 대한 다양한 경험 공유의 부족‘, ’교육개선 의지 강화‘가 작용이 나타났다. 또한, 중심현상 대처방안을 위한 상호작용 대안으로 ’특수학급 장애 학생의 체육활동 현장개선의 시급성‘으로 나타났다. 상호작용전략에 따라 ’특수학급 장애학생을 대상으로 한 체육활동의 활성화 방안‘의 결과가 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 초등학교 특수학급 특수교사가 가진 문제점을 개인적 차원 및 다양한 차원에서의 종합적 지원 방향을 설정하여 지원하여야 함을 시사한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to understand the dilemma of specialized teachers in elementary school when teaching physical activities to disabled children. Seven teachers who had more than three years of physical education in elementary school were interviewed, and the results were based on the theory of basis proposed by Strauss and Corbin (1990) to form a paradigm. As a result of open coding, 34 concepts and 14 subcategories were derived. According to the results of the study, the central phenomenon of specialized elementary school teachers is "difficulty in guiding sports activities" and the causal condition of the central phenomenon is "difficulty in guiding sports activities." In addition, the interaction strategies of students with disabilities in special classes to improve their sports activities are "individual," "environmental," and "systematic," which affect the process of suppressing the central phenomenon. According to the interaction strategy, the results of the plan to revitalize sports activities for students with disabilities in special classes are presented. These results suggest that comprehensive support should be provided at the individual, school and institutional, system and policy level to solve the problems of specialized teachers in elementary schools.
