Abstract

Seeing our reality about the corruption that widespread among local and national officials and citizens must lead us to think that it is the time to make an strong response to the kind of crimes. The first step should be supporting the investigative method that can effectively identify the corruptive activity. Those activities have been a great deal of shame on us and also disrupt our morality and the fair market system. Based on my long experience as a prosecutor in the area of corruption of government officials, it is very difficult to really strike down a particular wrong activity of corruption. I would like to make a recommendation for the introduction of the new investigative method by which a law enforcement can aggressively act on corruption. Because corruption has the characteristics that can not be revealed easily, the new investigative method seems to be urgently needed. The standard for the proof of the act of bribe become stricter. Contrarily, the weapons of law enforcement become weaker. Corruptive practices in our society almost make fun of and get easily around the power of law enforcement. Although almost all legal theories just pay attention to the theoretical arguments for defendants, I would argue that there is really an urgent request to lower down the corruptive activities in our society.
