In addition to respira-tory disorders, PSG also plays a pivotal role in managing pediatric patients with neuromuscu-lar disorders, chronic lung diseases, parasomnias, restless legs syndrome, and excessive day-time sleepiness. This review highlights the primary indications for pediatric PSG, with afocus on its utility in diagnosing obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, central apnea, and othersleep-related disorders.
