본고는 열린 서사체로써 담론을 생산하는 장이 되고 있는 TV드라마 텍스트를 통해서 현대 여성의 섹슈얼리티 담론을 분석한 연구이다. 이를 통해 페미니즘 이후의 감수성을 보여주는 현대여성들의 섹슈얼리티 정체성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석대상으로는 TVN의 <로맨스가 필요해 2012>를 선정하였다. 본 드라마는 현대를 살아가는 싱글 여성 3인의 성과 섹슈얼리티 정체성에 대해 얘기한다. 여주인공의 정신적 목소리를 대변하는 독백은 여주인공이 처한 환경과 그에 따른 심리 상태를 잘 파악할 수 있는 기제로 작동하며 현대 싱글 여성들의 가치관이 집약된 장치로 작용한다. 시청자게시판을 통해 살펴본 여성 수용자들의 반응은 드라마의 현실적인 내러티브에 대한 호응이었다. 이러한 요인이 현대 여성의 정체성을 탐구하기 위한 도구로 <로맨스가 필요해 2012>를 선택한 이유이다. 드라마의 담론을 분석한 결과 현대 여성의 섹슈얼리티 정체성에 대해 4가지의 측면에서 정리하였다. 첫째는 성적 욕망의 주체로서의 섹슈얼리티이다. 둘째는 시각적 주체자로서의 섹슈얼리티이다. 셋째는 쾌락으로서의 섹슈얼리티이다. 넷째는 양가적 섹슈얼리티이다. 본 연구를 통해 현대 페미니즘에서 얘기하는 섹슈얼리티 담론이 TV드라마에서 어떻게 이해되고 적용되는지 살펴 볼 수 있었고 현대페미니즘의 섹슈얼리티 정체성에 대해 고찰해 볼 수 있었다.
Abstract
Under this article, the study has analyzed the sexuality discourse of contemporary women through the TV drama text as the place to produce the discourse in open narrative style. Through this study, the attempt is made to take a look at the sexuality identity for contemporary women that demonstrated the sensitivity after the feminism. <Romance 2012> of TVN was selected for the subject of analysis. This drama was on identity of sex and sexuality of three single women in contemporary time. Monologue that represents the spiritual voice of women characters has worked as the mechanism to find out the environment for women characters and their respective psychological condition and it worked as the integrated device with the value point of view for contemporary single women. Reaction of women viewers shown through the bulletin board of viewers were positive reaction on the realistic narrative in dramas. Such an attribute is the reason to select <Romance 2012> as the tool to search for the identity of contemporary women. As a result of analyzing the discourse of the drama, it was arranges in 4 aspects on the sexuality identity of contemporary women. First is the sexuality as the main subject of sexual desire. Second is the sexuality as the visual subject. Third is the sexuality for pleasure. And, fourth is the ambivalent sexuality. Through this study, the sexuality discourse as mentioned under contemporary feminism was sought how it is understood and applied in TV drama and contemplates on sexuality identity of contemporary feminism.
