품질기능전개(QFD) 이론을 적용한 뉴 실버 여성의 의류제품 디자인 설계요소 - 정장과 캐주얼웨어를 중심으로 -

본 연구는 뉴 실버 여성의 의류제품 요구속성을 QFD 방법론에 적용시켜 디자인 개발 시 우선적으로 고려하여야 하는 구체적인 디자인 요소를 도출해봄으로써 뉴 실버 여성 소비자 니즈에 적합한 의류제품 디자인 가이드라인을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 실버 여성들의 의류제품 속성을 알아보기 위하여 서울 및 수도권 지역의 60~75세 뉴 실버 여성을 대상으로 2013년 4월 15일에서 2013년 4월 22일까지 설문조사한 417부 응답지를 분석에 사용하였으며, 디자인 요소의 중요도를 알아보기 위해서 전문가 7명으로 구성된 QFD팀이 평가를 실시하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 뉴 실버 여성들의 의류제품 고객요구속성은 ‘심미성’, ‘사회심리’, ‘맞음새’, ‘실용성’, ‘관리성’의 5차원으로 분류되었다. 2. 고객요구속성과 디자인 요소간의 관계에서 ‘심미성’과 ‘사회심리’차원은 대체로 선과 색채와 관련이 높았으며 ‘맞음새’는 대체로 선과 소재와 관계가 높았다. ‘실용성’은 대체적으로 선, 색채, 소재 모두 골고루 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났으며 ‘관리성’은 대체로 소재와 관계가 높았다. 3. HOQ 디자인 요소의 상대적 중요도는 정장과 캐주얼웨어 제품 모두 ‘섬유의 종류’, ‘여유’, ‘길이’ 등의 순으로 나타났다. 4. HOQ 고객요구속성의 상대적 중요도 최우선 순위는 정장과 캐주얼웨어 제품 모두 ‘착용용도의 적합성’으로 나타났다.
Abstract
'New Silver Generation' which is quite different from conventional elderly generation has emerged as a new consumer force in Korea. This study attempted to propose design guidelines from the perspective of aged women for designing clothes for new silver generation through focusing on specific design elements associated with quality attributes that should be improved in advance based on QFD methodology after analyzing customer requirements for apparel product among the new silver generation women. The questionnaire survey for Customer requirements was conducted on 417 new silver generation women (ages 60 through 75, and living in Seoul and Gyeonggi) from April 15th to the 22nd in 2013. An expert’s review for QFD has been performed by the QFD team which consisted of 3 designers and 7 professors from the fashion design-related department from April 15 to 20, 2013. The results wereas follows. 1. Product attributes that the new silver women required in Apparel Products has five dimensions of class, 'aesthetics', 'socio-psychology', 'fitness', 'usefulness' and 'maintenance'. 2. According to analyses on relations between customer-required attributes and design elements, 'aesthetics' and 'socio-psychology' were mostly related with line and color. 'Fitness' was highly related with line and material. In addition, 'usefulness' was mostly related with line, color, and material. However, 'maintenance' was highly related with material only. 3. In terms of priority on relative importance in HOQ design elements, 'type of fiber' was number one, followed by 'ease', 'length', and 'tone', with no significant differences between formal and casual wear. 4. In terms of priority on in HOQ customer-required attributes, 'appropriateness of purpose' was the highest, with no significant differences between formal and casual wear.
