기능과 조형 분석을 통한 골프화 디자인의 유형분류 체계 연구

Abstract

This study was started from the fact that despite the popularization of golf, there is a problem in communication between stakeholders in the industrial field as golf shoe designs have not been classified. The purpose of this study is to establish a classification system of golf shoe design by proposing a standard of classification based on the function and formative characteristics of golf shoes. Through this, stakeholders such as designers, developers, salespeople, and consumers can clearly recognize the concept of golf shoe types and facilitate communication with each other through the use of correct terms. The method of the study was conducted by researching and analyzing the concepts based on the preceding literature and utilizing the industrial experience and knowledge as a field golf shoe designer. The study was conducted in three stages. First, the theoretical background for the classification of golf shoe types was established by examining the structure, functional characteristics, and formative characteristics of golf shoes through prior research. Second, a comparative analysis was conducted on the classification of golf shoe types in 9 online shopping malls to determine the current status. and by analyzing the functions and formative elements of 49 released products of the manufacturer's brand to search the factors for classification. Third, by integrating the surveyed results, 4 types of classification methods were proposed according to shape, heel height, material and processing, functional structure. Practitioner interviews were conducted to evaluate the usefulness. As a result of this study, the design classification table of golf shoes was finally derived by defining form, material, processing, and function as type items, top and bottom of golf shoes as structure items. The significance of this study is to establish the classification of golf shoes in terms of function and formativeness from the point of view of design studies for golf shoes in a new growth industry.
