Abstract
This paper empirically examines the relationships emotional labor, job burnout, and customer orientation in airline service. The research model is tested by data collected from 131 employees of airline cabin service. Surface acting doesn't have a significant effect on job burnout, but deep acting is significantly related with disengagement. Also, the effect of job burnout on customer orientation is only significant in disengagement. Finally, the limitations and further research issues are discussed.
