Abstract

This paper considered the contents of the project for protection of Great Wall in China and the current extent of long wall in Goguryeo and Balhae and tried to search the our counterplan. China concentrated on the protection of Great Wall from 2003. The project for protection of Great Wall in China begun with the plan for protection of Great Wall and the ordinance for protection of Great Wall. The project for protection of Great Wall in China was divided into the 1st step(2006-2010) and the 2nd step(2011-2015). The project for protection of Great Wall in China gone into effect in order to reinterpret the significance of Great Wall which has been regarded as the exclusive property of Han Chinese and the protection of Great Wall which was world heritage through the theory of multiracial nation. The project for protection of Great Wall in China tried to create a term of Great Wall of the Chronicles and to expand the length of Great Wall including Great Wall of dynasties of many generations within the Chinese territory. The long walls of Goguryo and Balhae which was included in Great Wall of the Chronicles were the long wall of Laobiangang, the long wall of Mudanjiang and the long wall of old Yanbian. The project for protection of Great Wall in China try to overcome the confusion of state affairs in China and to strengthen a national integration and a territorial consolidation by inspiring Chinese pride that Great Wall is regarded as the historical relics of all the peoples in China. Therefore, our government has to establish the long-term and systematic counterstrategy in order to counteract the project for protection of Great Wall in China. Also, if China make the Great Wall of Chronicles to the UNESCO list, our government will has to find international cooperation. In scientific parlance, it is necessary to set out a logical theory that can refute an argument of China through the exhaustive analysis of Chinese data and secure the certain data that can impede the historical distortion of China through the cooperative study with North Korea.
