In this paper we try to analyse Korean bound NPs within the framework of LFG(Lexical Functional Grammar) and to implement those within the system of XLE(Xerox Linguistic Environment). Using templates that are the collection of linguistic information, we classify the bound NPs into subtypies such as general bound NPs, unit bound NPs, and clitic bound NPs. The first subtype is again divided into three types, depending on which grammatical relation the bound NP has within the clause. Each subtype has some relevant templates and its own information. As a result, we can systematize the lexicon effectively and see the sameness and the differences among the subtypes. Furthermore, we implement within the XLE system the proposed analyses on the various types of bound NPs. That shows that our linguistic analyses are descriptively adequate and computationally sound.
