This paper examines the emotions that LiBai felt in Jinling by dividing them into four aspects. The emotion on Parting centers around the feelings of parting that LiBai felt in Jinling. In the case of poems that describe LiBai’s unfortunate circumstances, the sadness of parting is portrayed even more deeply. The emotion related to reminiscence is centered around LiBai’s reminiscence of the fallen ancient capital. In the emotion related to reminiscence, LiBai was greatly influenced by the political situation he was in. The emotion related to joy is centered around LiBai’s emotion related to play and pleasure. LiBai did not only pursue debauchery and pleasure while enjoying leisure, but also an elegance that was not secular. The emotion related to longing focuses on LiBai’s children and his old friend XieTiao.
