급변하는 상황 속에서 역사적인 4.27 남북정상회담이 판문점에서 체결되었다. 연이어 싱가포르에서 열렸던 6.11 북미정상회담은 한반도를 전쟁과 핵의 위협으로부터 획기적인 평화의 길로 인도하고 있다고 평가되고 있다. 2차(5.22)와 3차(9.20)에 걸친 남북정상회담과 앞으로 전개될 2차 북미회담 등 한반도의 평화 문제는 급격하게 발전하고 있다. 이런 맥락에서 한반도의 평화를 위한 통일 신학의 정립을 위해서 문화 변혁자(Transformer of the Church)의 유형인 어거스틴, 칼빈, 그리고 카위퍼의 신학을 고찰한다. 본고에서는 대표적인 초대 교부인 어거스틴으로부터 하나님 나라와 평화 사상을 통일 신학의 단초로서 제시하고 있다. 또한 16세기 종교개혁 신학을 총 종합했던 존 칼빈으로부터는 화해의 신학과 청지기 신학이 통일 신학의 요소임을 천명했다. 특히 예수 그리스도를 통해서 하나님과 화해된 그리스도인들은 북한 주민과 탈북자를 포함한 이웃과 화해하는 일에 힘써야 한다. 동시에 한국 교회가 가지고 있는 것은 통일을 위해서 헌신하라고 하나님께서 맡겨 놓은 것임을 알고 실천해야 할 것이다. 마지막으로 화란의 아브라함 카위퍼는 일반 은총과 영역주권의 맥락에서 통일 신학의 단초를 제시해 주고 있다. 교회는 왕이 되시는 그리스도의 주권을 한반도에 세우기 위해서 노력해야 하며, 경제적 자유주의와 사회주의 모두를 성경적으로 비판하면서 사회적 양극화를 해소시키기 위한 방향으로 나가야 할 것이다. 최근 남북 관계와 한반도 주변 상황이 급변하고 있는 가운데서 기독교인들은 통일신학을 확립하여 한반도 평화와 통일의 길로 나가야 할 것이다.
Abstract
Based on the dynamic development of the Korean peninsula concerning the issue of peace and reunification, it is strongly necessary for the study on the theology for the peace of Korean peninsula. Especially, the historical summits between South and North Korea(April 27, May 22 and September 20 of 2018) and North Korea-U.S.A. summit(June 11, 2018) stimulates the theological reflection on the peaceful reunification. To undertake the 'reunification-theological' elements within the Reformed tradition, this study will observe the thoughts of Augustine(354-430), Calvin(1509-1564) and Kuyper(1837-1920), because they are recognized as the theologians who have a position of "Christ, the transformer of the Culture". From Augustine's theology, I pointed out the "Theology of the Kingdom of God" and "Peace". In the thoughts of John Calvin, this article emphasized the theology of "Reconciliation" and "Stewardship". Further, from the teaching of Abraham Kuyper I presented the theology of "Common Grace", and "Sphere Sovereignty".
