잠재프로파일분석을 적용한 고효과 프로그램 참여 유형화 연구: H 대학 사례를 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 학부교육 실태조사(K-NSSE)에 참여한 H 대학 재학생 607명을 대상으로 잠재프로파일분석을 적용하여 고효과 프로그램 참여 프로파일을 도출하고 이들의 관계를 살펴보는 데 있다. 먼저, 고효과 프로그램 10가지 지표를 토대로 잠재프로파일분석을 수행한 결과, 4개 프로파일이 도출되었으며, 이들을 참여 저조형(54.2%), 고참여형(10.5%), 공동체 활동 참여형(18.3%), 고차적 학습 참여형(17.0%)으로 명명하였다. 도출된 프로파일에 따라 대학몰입과 학생성과 간에 차이가 나타났으며, 고효과 프로그램 참여 프로파일을 예측하는 요인(성별, 학년, 전공, 지원적 대학환경)을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 대학생의 학습성과를 높일 방안으로 주목받고 있는 고효과 프로그램 참여 형태가 학생에 따라 달라질 수 있음을 경험적으로 확인하였다는 데 의의가 있으며, 연구의 제한점을 토대로 후속 연구에 대해 제언하였다.
Abstract
This study aimed to classify latent profiles of high-impact practices participation in university, and to examine the effect of their characterisitcs and supportive environments on these profiles as well as the differences in their learning outcomes. Latent profile analysis revealed four types of high-impact practices participation; type 1(weak participation type, 54.2%), type 2(excellent participation type, 10.5%), type 3(learning communities participation type, 18.3%), type 4(integrative learning participation type, 17.0%). Further analysis showed that gender, grade, major and supportive environments prove to be predictors of identifying profiles. Moreover, they indicate differences in their institutional commitment and student outcomes. Based on these results, discussions and future studies were suggested.
