기독교윤리적 관점에서 본 공유의 경제와 협동조합

본 연구의 목적은 공유지 개념에서 출발한 공유의 경제의 한 유형으로서의 협동조합이 가난한 자들의 문제를 해결할 수 있는 가능성을 기독교윤리의 주된 자원들(resources)인 계시로서의 성경과 교회 전통의 관점에서 살펴보는 것이다. 미국의 사회학자인 로버트 페루치(Robert Perrucci)와 얼리 와이송(Early Wysong)은가난은 제 자본 ― 소비 자본, 투자 자본, 기술 자본, 사회적 자본 ― 의 결핍에 있다고주장했는데, 이 논문은 이들의 주장에 대한 해결책으로서의 공유의 경제 개념과 함께공유지 관리의 실패에 따라 발생할 문제를 논의한다. 이어서 공유지와 공유 자원에 대한성경적인 근거를 살펴보고, 기독교 전통 중에서 종교개혁 시대에 공유의 공동체를 통해초대교회의 이상을 실현하기 위해 투쟁한 세 분파 ― 후터파, 수평파, 디거스― 의사례를 다룬다. 이어서 공유의 개념에 입각한 공유경제 기업의 모델과 현황을 다룬 후에, 공유의 경제 개념의 실제적이고 현실적인 적용의 한 형태로서 협동조합의 성격과함께 그 가능성을 탐구한다. 그리고 이런 분석을 성경과 기독교 전통이라는 기독교윤리의 주된 요소들의 관점에서 평가하고자 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to seek the adaptability of economics of commons to cooperatives as a kind of sharing enterprise to solve the problem of the poor who have not enough capitals, which are consumption capital, investment capital, skill capital, and social capital presented by Robert Perrucci and Early Wysong. To get over their poor situation, the poor needs accessing those capitals. However, it is difficult for them to obtain the capitals in the current global capitalist system. To solve this problem as forming the capitals, this study presents the concept of 'commons' which makes them taking part in common resources of their society. Comparing the merits of the concept of commons, this paper deals with the problem like the tragedy of commons. It also deals with the biblical concept of commons derived from God's creation, and discusses on the law of Jubilee. Thereafter, it presents three Christian group such as Hutterite, Levellers, and Diggers, which had the spirit of commons in the 16-17th century Protestantism. Lastly, this paper tries to find the adaptability of the concept of commons to cooperative through the economics of commons as a practical method of forming capitals for solving the problem of the poor. Finally, this paper evaluates cooperative as an alternative to current economy in the perspective of Christian ethics especially through the references of the Bible and Christian tradition which are main resources of it.
