오늘은 어제가 있음으로써 가능하다. 이것은 학문 분야에서도 예외가 아니다. 설교학 역시 마찬가지다. 특별히 오늘의 한국교회 설교가 있기까지는 과거의 많은 설교학자와 설교자들의 학문적 연구와 노력이 있었기 때문이다. 그러므로 오늘 우리가 한국교회의 설교 역사에 대한 관심을 가지고, 이에 대한 학문적 연구를 하는 것은 매우 중요한 작업이라고 생각한다. 무엇보다 한국교회 초기의설교학은 한국 설교의 시원이 된다는 점에서 이에 대한 연구는 그 가치가 크다고 하겠다. 그런 측면에서 본 연구는 한국교회 최초의 설교학자인 곽안련의 설교학에 대한 전반적인 관찰과 함께, 이에 대한 분석과 평가를 현대 설교학적 관점에서 조명해보고자한다. 그의 설교에 대한 이해, 설교 방법론, 설교자론 등을 살펴보고, 그것이 오늘 우리에게 주는 교훈은 무엇인지를 탐색하고자 한다. 그와 함께 본 연구를 시작으로 앞으로 이에 대한 후속 연구들이 확산할 수 있기를 기대한다.
Abstract
Today could be possible thanks to yesterday. And there is no exception in the academic world. In fact, the same is true of preaching. In particular, preaching in the Korean church today is the result of academic research and efforts of many preachers and scholars who have done work in the field of homiletics in the past. Thus, it is an important task to have interest in the history of preaching in Korean church and to do academic research about it. Above all, homiletics in the early Korean church was the beginning of Korean preaching. Therefore, to study it is of great value. In that respect, this study reflects on the Homiletics of Kwak, An-ryeon (Charles Allen Clark) who is considered the first scholar of homiletics in the Korean church as well as analyzing and evaluating his preaching from the perspective of modern homiletics. In order to do so, the author explores Kwak's understanding on preaching, methodology of preaching, and theory of preachers. In addition, the author exfurther studies on it to be done by others beginning with this article.amines the lessons of the study for us today. Furthermore, the author expects
