초록

The Chinese Religious Policy is continuously changing in last several decades. One hand Chinese people believe that they can do ministry and mission by themselves no matter what types of religions. The official Chinese government stance is that the Chinese do not need foreign mission’s assistance. On the other hand, the Chinese government allows and even sometimes encourages international relationship with foreigners and their religions. In rapidly changing global political and economic situation, the Chinese government cannot and will not be exclusive for foreign religions all the times. In such a situation, it is necessary to establish two different ways of mission strategy; one is that Korean missionaries and mission agencies should be attention to the changing of the Chinese Religious Policy, so that mission for China is carrying in appropriate ways. Many missionaries who are working in China and looking forward to doing ministry in China in future should understand current situations in China first. Otherwise they can be banned or refused to working there. Another is that now Korean mission agencies and missionaries should seek other possibilities or ways to serve Chinese people instead of going into China. I argue that in the 21st century they have been scattered all over the world. Some of them are workers in Israel and the Middle East and some of them are students in the Western countries. In this kind of situation, the approaches to Chinese people are supposed to be various. Korean missionaries do not have to go to China, but we can impact on Chinese people in outside of China. Since Korean Protestant missions began mission in China, the Chinese Religious Policy has been continuously changing. Korean mission agency and missionary need to not only understanding the Chinese Religious Policy but also establishing new mission strategies in order to accomplish the mission of God for China.
